About Met-Con
Met-Con is a cardio-focused, bodyweight movement class which is designed to purely focus on conditioning exercises. The main intention of this class is to increase the storage and delivery of energy for ANY activity.
This class is a very low impact based session meaning that it’s a great way to achieve an absolute cardio burn with giving your joints the break they deserve!
Catering to any fitness level, whether you’re an Olympic Athlete wanting to build your engine or simply looking to take part in a cardio based class and wanting to burn those calories Met-Con is for you! Being only 45 minutes long, we’re focusing on getting you in, warming you up and getting you involved with no time to waste. The structure of the class can differ from interval work to more endurance work, however, whatever happens, you will leave CrossFit Phuket extremely sweaty, but much better off for it!
Class Time Frame:
- 45 Minutes
- Work time – 30 minutes
Maximum Number Of People:
- 20 people
Class Level:
- Open to all fitness levels
Class Structure:
- The class can either be interval based, or endurance based work
- All exercises will be body weight, however machines like the rowers and assault bikes are to be expected
- The coach will control the pace of the class, looking for maximum output
- The class will most likely be an E.M.O.M or an A.M.R.A.P

Extra Met-Con Information
Start the class with coach explaining the instruction on the board and demonstrate all the movements by assistant coach and follow with stretching, warm up and demos to take 10 minutes.
Athletes have demonstrated improved endurance performance without classic endurance training. Even in clinical trials CrossFit’s high intensity regimen has produced improvements in endurance measures that rivaled those achieved through programs comprised largely of endurance efforts.
